effectively eliminates adhesions, fibrosis and scar tissue and thus helps reduce inflammation, decrease pain and improve joint mobility.
The GRASTON method is a soft tissue mobilization technique (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia) that uses specific instruments to diagnose and treat areas of fibrotic restrictions in the tissues and around the joints.
The instruments allow these areas of fibrous adhesions to be treated with the pressure, depth and precision necessary to modify the affected tissues.
The treatment softens and remodels the treated tissues. This results in improved muscle and joint function, reduced inflammation and pain.
CLINICAL APPLICATIONS:
Number of sessions: most of the above-mentioned pathologies require 3 to 6 sessions spaced one week apart.

What is the ART® method?
ART® (Active Release Technique) is a system of treatment of soft tissues and the musculoskeletal system based on combined stretching and massage techniques. ART can treat pain related to muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.
Headaches, back and neck pain, carpal tunnel, lower back pain, shoulder pain, frozen shoulders, foot pain, ankle pain, knee pain, tennis elbow, tendonitis, sciatica … are just a few problems that can be solved quickly and permanently with the ART technique.
All these problems have one cause in common: they are often the result of muscle overuse with tissue fibrosis.
How does an ART® session work?
Each ART session is a combination of examination and treatment. The therapist manually assesses the texture and mobility of muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves and the abnormal tissues are then treated by combining precisely directed pressure into the fibrotic tissues with specific stretching movements in order to release the affected tissues and restore their flexibility and mobility.
These treatment protocols – over 500 different movements – are unique to the ART system. They allow the therapist to identify and correct specific problems in each patient.

Innovation beyond percussion!
Rapid Release™ is a next-generation body vibration technology designed for the treatment of muscle and tendon pain. If you already own a massage gun, discover the power of vibration in comparison!
